Pole vault: Duplantis improves his world record once again

Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis broke the world record for pole vaulting again this Thursday at the Mondo Classic meeting in Uppsala, Sweden.

In front of his home crowd, he cleared a bar set at 6,31m, improving his previous record by one centimeter.

Before this attempt, Duplantis had already successfully cleared 5,65m, 5,90m and 6,08m, quickly taking the lead in the competition.

He then requested that the bar be placed directly at 6,31m to attempt the world record, which he successfully broke.

This is the fifteenth world record of his career. For several years, Duplantis has often improved his own mark by one centimeter at a time.

With this new jump, he confirms his dominance in pole vaulting and continues to push the boundaries of the discipline.
